GoodLife Makes Great Beef

GOODLIFE Beef was born out of a legacy of hard work, faith, and family at Double O Farms near Sutton, Nebraska. What started as a small family operation has grown into something bigger: a way to share high-quality, Nebraska-raised beef with families across the country who care about where their food comes from. 


At our core, we’re still the same farm family. Jena and Levi Ochsner raise crops, cattle, and country kids on the same land Levi’s family has cared for since 1885. Alongside Levi’s parents, Jeff and Sheila, and with help from the sixth generation - Stetson, Crawford and Walker - we’re proud to carry on the traditions that have shaped this land for more than 140 years. Our Angus cattle are born and raised right here at Double O Farms, where good beef begins with good mamas, good feed, and a lot of great care. From farm to fork, we’re intentional about every step to ensure the quality and flavor we’re proud to put our name on. What started as a dream to feed local families has grown into something more—a way to bring Nebraska beef to tables all over America. Because when you live the Good Life, great beef deserves to be shared.

Our Promise

We believe in transparency and integrity. The farming and ranching technology advancements over the last century are pretty amazing. Tractors can drive themselves, apps can tell us when a pivot breaks down and how much rain fell on each field and pasture. But, when it comes to raising livestock, we’re still doing the same old fashioned things our ancestors did when they first settled on these lands so many years ago. Our cattle always eat before we do and their water never runs dry. Our daily care ensures the herd is as healthy and happy as possible.

Our Mission

To provide you with the highest quality and best beef you’ve ever tasted. We pride ourselves in raising our animals humanely and with the utmost respect. Our cattle spend their lives roaming and grazing on our green, grassy pastures and are finished on a blend of sedan grass silage, hay, alfalfa, and corn all grown right here on our family farm.
